Image Timothy Wright - CEO and Managing Director... Timothy Wright is a specialist in financial strategy, financial analysis and packaging of debt and equity transactions. He has acted on behalf of individuals, corporations and governments both nationally and internationally and is the Managing Director of Union Equities Pty Limited, CEO of OzzyConnect Limited and Chairman of the Australian Business Financial Exchange. As well as funding placement from time to time he acts as corporate strategist to various organisations, the most recent being Boeing Australia concerning a major acquisition.

Timothy Wright's experience in property and financial affairs is international and diverse, including: Chairman of Laurel Park Vista Limited, a public company undertaking a residential development in Toowoomba, Queensland; Managing Director of Pinnacles Vista Limited, a public company developing apartments on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland; Director of Edgewater Tinaroo Pty Ltd undertaking a residential subdivision near Cairns, Queensland; Economic consultant for two years to the United States government; Australian economic consultant to the Israeli Company Netafim for two years ; Economic consultant to Metacorp Berhad from Malaysia; Property consultant for four years to a Consolidated Press Holdings Limited company; Listing of Acquascan on the ASX.

As well as financial consultancy and debt and equity placement, current property projects being instigated include a major residential subdivision of approximately 200 lots near Brisbane and a landmark apartment commercial development in Central Queensland. Timothy Wright is a Queenslander by origin, educated in Brisbane and University of New England, and has travelled the world extensively on real estate and business affairs. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance.

Timothy Wright as CEO and Managing Director has key roles for business development, negotiations and facilitating transactions generally, as well as overseeing the company administration and financial and management aspects generally.

 

Lisa Wilkins - Director & Projects Director ... Lisa is from Australia and qualified with a Certificate IV in Business.  Soon after graduating from Martin Commercial College she joined with Brumby's bakeries as PA to the Managing Director. Her role was, in addition to that of personal assistant, looking after the bookkeeping duties for 10 brumby's bakeries, assisting with site negotiation letters, screening of initial franchisee enquiries, and ensuring that all legislative requirements are met for the Franchising Code of Conduct with all new franchisees.

Lisa then moved on to join a pest control company now owned by Campbell Brothers Limited in the capacity of Administration Manager managing all aspects of the office and comprehensive financial reporting to a publicly listed company. Together with her team, she was able to assist when Campbell Brothers went on an acquisition path to diversify their pest control businesses.  Lisa provided the guidance, drive and know how to attain the goal of bringing all business' acquired under the one financial reporting structure.

Lisa then took up the position of Financial Controller with Australasian Resource Consultants, an Environmental consulting firm mainly specialising in the mining and resource arena.  Lisa was able to bring the bookkeeping standards up to that of enabling the company to pursue the path of publicly listing the company.  She put in place systems and procedures to ensure that these standards were maintained.

In October 2006 Lisa joined OzzyConnect Limited as Office Manager to provide support to the team and maintain all financial aspects of the many and diversified companies that make up the OzzyConnect group.

 

Kylie Christie - Executive Assistant  ... Kylie was born in Queensland and has extensive experience in administrative business functions with a focus on Information Technology, Customer Service and Marketing.

Kylie worked for Golden Casket Lottery Corporation for 12 years where she worked in administrative roles throughout the organisation and gained valuable experience in complaints management, compliance and legislation, computer operations and network business support.

During this time, Kylie worked on many different projects in the capacity of both planning/management and as a representative with key business knowledge.

Kylie then moved into a customer service role with The Investors Club, overseeing all property sales and ensuring that key performance indicators were adhered to. This involved liaising with solicitors, mortgage brokers, property developers, purchasers and sales staff. She then moved into a key marketing role and was responsible for management of all publications, marketing promotions, collateral and web content.

Kylie has come on board with the OzzyConnect team as an Executive Assistant to Timothy Wright and also assists in coordination of project schedules and marketing.

 

Glen Gilmour - Director of Property and Commercial Finance  ... Glen Gilmour has a long and extensive background in banking and finance with companies such as The NAB and MLC having worked with the NAB for 20 years. Mr Gilmour was involved in various divisions of the group including Commercial Property Finance and was recruited to MLC to implement the First Mortgage Broking Business for the MLC/NAB Group in Queensland via the AdvantEdge Program, which was a Workplace Corporate Financial Planning Organisation. He worked closely with the groups in house financial planners in both an education/advisory role and hands on mortgage broking and it was his responsibility to assist the Financial Planners in identifying debt opportunities through the review of files and through the presentation of mortgage seminars to their clients and direct target marketing. The success of this venture saw the inception of adviser sales to the broader financial planning market.

Since leaving the NAB Group Glen Gilmour has worked as a Commercial Property Finance broker, involved in putting together and completing numerous property development projects across Australia. These projects included land subdivisions, commercial property developments and residential unit developments.

Mr Gilmour brings to OzzyConnect Limited his extensive economic and financial experience and has a keen sense of commercial business. He has been fundamental in establishing key contacts within the finance and property industries and in spearheading many transactions to completion.

Mr Gilmour is currently the Director of Property and Commercial Finance with OzzyConnect Limited, a specialist property and development funding firm. He is also a member of the MIAA and is fully accredited with Australia's largest lending institutions and those within the Private Equity Market.

 

Mark Peart - Director, Property Development  ...  Mark is a Queenslander by origin having been educated in Toowoomba and then completing Rural Management and Business studies at Queensland University (Gatton Campus). His background is within the agricultural and aviation industries and in later years, property developing in Joint Venture partnerships and within his own right.

Past projects have seen him involved in the conception, development, and project management of a green fields $20 million Feedlot and irrigated corn agri-business in North Queensland. Also the development of a number of rural and residential subdivisions in North Qld and South East Queensland and a current involvement in the planning and initial development of 2 large residential subdivisions in the Latrobe Valley of Victoria.

His expertise is in project managing of developments from conception to completion with strong grass roots knowledge of the development process especially on site management to maintain the momentum of developments to achieve the time lines and milestones budgeted.

Mark has travelled extensively throughout Australia and understands the property market well with a broad prospective of the key drivers of property markets, especially in more remote and regional areas of the country.

The marketing experience gained from personal investments in previous business ventures in tourism, aviation and labour hire allows him to understand what is involved to meet sales targets within the development phrase and to unlock the intrinsic value of green field sites.

Marks key roles with OzzyConnect are in sourcing development sites with future potential, preparing conceptual budgets and overviews of prospective sites and the project management of sites under planning, construction and selling down phrases.

 Wayne Gooley - Non-Executive Director... Wayne Gooley is Managing Director of Axis Financial Group (Australia) Limited (Axis), a boutique investment and financial services house located in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Axis specialises in the provision of corporate, financial and investment advisory services to small to medium sized public and ASX listed companies, privately owned businesses and private clients. Wayne Gooley, a lawyer by training, has in excess of 20 years experience in the securities and corporate advisory industries and is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Axis Group.

Prior to establishing Axis, Wayne Gooley was Head of Corporate Services at Bridges Financial Services Pty Limited, one of Australia's largest retail financial planning and stockbroking groups. Whilst at ridges, he was responsible for initiating its Corporate Services business and managing its growth from inception to ultimately advising upon or arranging corporate transactions worth in excess of $1.3 billion.

Previously Wayne Gooley was an Associate Director of a merchant bank specialising in corporate advisory and equity raisings and later in the Corporate Finance Division of one of Australia's largest banks. His earlier experience also included a period of seven years with the Australian Stock Exchange Limited, where he specialised in the Business and Listing Rules of the ASX. Wayne Gooley is a director and shareholder of several private and investment companies.

Wayne Gooley is a non-executive director and is specifically responsible to guide the company on equity and capital matters and provide vision and advice on company direction.



 James Huey - Non-Executive Director... James Huey has an outstanding record of over 40 years commercial experience predominantly in the financial services industry. For over 30 years he carried out a variety of functional roles in Australia and offshore, including Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Finance and Information Technology. His ultimate full-time role was as General Manager for New South Wales of Westpac Banking Corporation, leading a business with over 10,000 employees and $19 billion in assets. Prior to that he was the foundation Executive Director of Westpac Training Services Pty Ltd. For the past 10 years he has been operating as an independent non-executive company director, and as an independent corporate strategic adviser. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours, from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, U.K., majoring in Financial Services.

Professionally, he is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (U.K.). In other technical streams, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, a Professional Member of the National Institute of Accountants, a Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, and an Associate of the Institute of Management Consultants. He has been a National Councillor of the Australian Quality Council, and is currently a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA).

As well as being a Member of the NSW Legal Profession Advisory Council, James Huey is a Director of Resimac Limited, and a number of private companies. He has a broad network of cooperative relationships with other advisers, consultants and service providers in Australia and the South West Pacific. James Huey is also a member of the Australian Fiji Business Council and the Australian China Business Council.

James Huey is responsible for company guidance, advising on banking and other financial services and utilising his extensive range of contacts, and advice on staff training and effectiveness.
